46 “And why are you calling Me ‘Lord, Lord[a]’, and you are not doing the things which I say? 47 Everyone coming to Me and hearing My words and doing them— I will show you to whom he is like. 48 He is like a man building a house who dug, and went down deep, and laid a foundation on the bed-rock. And a flood[b] having come about, the river broke-against[c] that house. And it was not strong-enough to shake it, because it had been built well.
